Claire and I ate at a deli in Birmingham in May. She sampled the pita chips and chicken salad. She really liked them both. She had a discerning palate from the beginning, scorning Gerber chicken (which smells like old tuna), but approving of Mama's homemade chicken salad with red grapes, slivered almonds, and rosemary.
