Here is Claire in the pink bolero sweater her Grambee knitted for her. Claire would only tolerate the hat for a few minutes at a time. The only hat she will wear is her white "pilot cap," which ties under her chin. It is made by Hanna Andersson, the company that makes the cutest children's clothes. Claire is holding her wooden spoon. While her Aunt Libber and I were making beef brisket in Nashville at the beginning of December, Claire decided to steal the spoon we were using to stir the herbs for the dry rub. I ended up buying Claire her very own wooden spoon.
