Claire loves the dog. She has christened him "uh-DUH!" Double loves her back and gives her kisses when he sees her (after which I disinfect her). He is very gentle with her and keeps her company when I leave the room for short stretches. He never gets mad when she pulls on his ears or his tail. Double really is a good little dog, even though he got a bad rap when he was a hyper, destructive puppy. He is maturing into a quiet, protective, well-trained, grown-up dog.
